1. Clean the toner inside the machine and on the toner cartridge, and check whether the waste toner transmission gear on the toner is damaged.
2. Enter the maintenance mode, component control, IO check, and enter the code 091-006 to determine whether there is an abnormal sound in the waste toner recovery channel of the machine. This fault is often caused by the damage of the waste toner box drive, resulting in poor waste toner recovery of the entire machine.
3. Check whether the gear of the waste toner transmission component can rotate normally, and sort out the internal waste toner.
4. Remove the waste toner box and check whether the gear set at the front of the machine is damaged, as shown in the figure.
5. Check the lower left corner of the rear of the machine, the waste toner box drive.
6. You can adjust the following NVM values to improve waste toner recovery and internal powder spraying of the machine to avoid similar faults.
- Adjust ATC value: yellow powder 754-292, red 754-293, blue 754-294 are all changed to 650
- Black needs to be adjusted according to the specific situation, and the code is 754-295 to 650
- You can change 746-766 to 6, which can increase the time for the drum to remove waste powder and avoid gear damage.
- Adjust the waste toner box NVM value 750-590 to 1, 750-591 to 2700, 750-592 to 1350, 750-595 to 3500, and 750-597 to 750
Note: It is not recommended to disassemble the machine waste toner box. If it is disassembled and installed incorrectly, this fault will also occur.
